Does this need a title?

I’ve noticed this blog is changing in regards to what I write, and how I write it. It is with that in mind that I retire the How To Fail At Girls category, and turn those posts to the Personal section. This is just an attempt to organize myself a bit more and clean up the site a little. Also, it’s hard to talk about how much I fail at the opposite sex when I’m in a good relationship. Why take up that space in the navigation bar if I’m never going to update it?
In other news, I got my first pair of converse shoes. I was always a bit apprehensive, since I didn’t want to fork out so much money for a pair of shoes, but decided to try them out. They are so comfortable. Seriously, why didn’t anyone force me to buy a pair sooner?
I know not many people read this, what with my slightly less than interesting articles on gaming and the like, but I have a few more posts I’m slowly working on (mainly in my head), it’s just a case of finishing them so that I like them enough to post. While the majority of my writings take all of an hour to write, some others (including my Nightmare On Elm Street review) take significantly longer to make. So while I’m sure you guys aren’t exactly caring, I will have a new post out soon. Whether it will be interesting to you will be another thing.
Also, here’s an obligatory photo of a cute girl.
Why is there always an ugly guy ruining my photos?

This post is essentially being written to push down the picture of the penis. Bare with us, and by us I mean me.
While I haven’t been writing anything really decent here or there, I have been editing the site a tiny bit. First up, I’ve ditched the links cloud in favour of twitter-style mini avatars. I was inspired to do this after Doc_Swarley added buttons to Harnessed Crayon, but set out to make mine look closer to the display Twitter uses in profiles to display accounts a person is following. I like how it looks and I reckon I’ll use it more because along with looking prettier, it’s more interesting and maybe people will be more apt to visiting my friend’s websites.
After reading Tarale’s post yesterday I’ve decided to install Disqus here too. Disqus is a commenting system which allows threaded comments, notifications, cleaner management, and an ability to “like” comments, along with some other nice abilities. We’ll see how it goes, and if it works out I’ll keep it. Otherwise, there’s always the deactivate button.
And finally, the thing which is still currently frustrating me a little, is at the very top of this page. I’m a simple person, and simple things amuse me. This is a simple little “one liner” message I’ll update every so often with a random thought. I’m using an old twitter account of mine to display it, so I can also change it on a whim wherever I am. Also, thank you to all the people who helped me make it work (or attempt to; apostrophes still won’t display) last night; you’re all amazing (but not as much as me *nods*)
What are your thoughts on these? Like them? Don’t give a shit?
Failures with girls blog needs a title

Ok, so obviously those who read here seem keen to hear me spew my guts about my successes and, mainly failures, with the opposite gender, and my adventure through awkwardness. Heh.
But obviously, such a thing is touchy to make to say the least, for both me and the people that will be mentioned. Do I use fake names? But people will know who it is regardless, so no. Do I talk about my paranoid fantasies (of which there are many)? Probably.
However, the bigger question I’d like to tackle beforehand, is what to call the damned thing. Since I’ve already got the input of a few people before, lets ask a new question; WHAT SHOULD THE BLOG BE CALLED? I already have the idea for a logo, so now it’s just a case of making it and adding a title to it. Any ideas? Please post in the comments, and I’ll love you forever.

I started making these types of posts at the end of every month to highlight the posts I was particularly happy with, to ensure people saw them. However, I did miss out on last month, so to make up for it we have this here magical post covering both months.
ON THE BLOG:
-
I bought the best shoes in the world. I am now content.
-
I paid forty dollars to get shot with a nail gun.
-
I sold out and did some affiliate marketing, which failed bigtime. However, it gave me an excuse to write reviews for my blog’s theme and the 31DBBB, which was fun in itself.
-
I started a series of posts of irrational fears and thoughts I have; it’s the only one so far (but there will be more)
-
As Rubenerd did with Microsoft (both of us completely unaware of each others posts), I ranted about the tactics Google was using to get people to use their Chrome browser.
-
I’ve started writing occasional articles for TechMasher.
-
As of a few weeks ago, I’ve started a new blog called PiggyBank, which will be filled with boring tales of all the different ways I’m aiming to save petty cash to build towards buying a house.
-
I saw Bora-I mean Brüno, and I want my hour and a half back.
-
I’m starting to reply to spam email, in the hopes of making some new friends. They never write me back though. Snobs.

[Poll Deleted >_>]
I’m facing an idea that part of me wants to push forward with, but another wants me to forever forget about it, and/or put it in my personal journal.
Basically, as I tweeted earlier, I’m considering making a sub domain on ZombieSkittles to chronicle my past, present and future fails and successes with the female gender. It’d be something I could write about, and would enjoy writing about, but there’s things I’d feel a little self-conscious about; like I first “made out” with a girl when I was 17…I was a late bloomer I guess.
Anyway, I’m in the dilemma of whether or not to broadcast all my failures and everything else, which I’m prone to.
The other issue is I’ll need to find a way of writing these things out. What do I cover and how much detail I need to go into. There are some things that are private, but at the same time are a little crucial to some of the stories.
Basically, I’m not really ashamed of anything, since while some has hurt me to a degree, and some is flat out embarrassing, it’s still a part of my life which I’m more than willing to write about. Chances are if you’re reading this you have almost one half of the readers of this blog, so I’m asking you for your opinion; both via the poll above, and the comments. It would be appreciated.
Futile money grabbing

I’ve tried it in the past and it failed me, but I decided to start advertising on a few of my sites again in hopes of getting maybe a few dollars extra. The idea is that I already write on these sites for free as my own personal hobby of sorts, so if I manage to make a few extra dollars here or there through it, then that’s just an awesome perk.
Currently I have two types of ‘ads’ on my sites. First, the obvious advertisements are the Google Adsense ads at the bottom of posts. They’ve never earned me anything in the past, but I’ve decided that it’d be better to have them just in case.
The other attempt at additional moneymaking is through a small amount of affiliate marketing. On this site to the right, there is an image of the 31DDDB eBook. The book is for sale for roughly twenty dollars through ProBlogger, and focuses on helping a user make content for their blog. The image is a link to the product’s information page, where you can buy it from. The trick is that it’s an affiliate link, and buying it through that link gives me a percentage of the sale. I don’t know if this will actually make any sales (it’s made absolutely nothing so far), but once again, if it worked even once and got me a few dollars, it would be worthwhile.
It’s pointless and I doubt it will help bring in any significant money, but I’m willing to try anything.
Introductionary post

I’ve had trouble for forever when it comes to saving money; it burns such a hole in my pocket that almost as soon as I get paid I spend it all and end up broke again. It’s stupid, and any attempts I make to save money fail. That’s where this blog comes in.
The aim of this blog is to talk about how I’m working on saving my money, the various ways I try to get some extra coinage, and so forth. I’m unaware of how often posts will be made on here, but when I have something to say on this topic, it will be published.
My goal
The main reason for saving my money is to get enough money to get my own place to live. To get a home loan, I need 10% of whatever I seek to borrow from the bank beforehand. So, I need to aim for roughly $30,000 saved. I will be moving in with a friend, but it’s much better to have more money than necessary, to cover unexpected expenses.
Turning this into a blogging game should keep me going, and hopefully get all the money saved as soon as possible.
This post stuffs up THAT milestone

I honestly had no idea how to react to this posting “milestone”. It came without warning, and with a stifled giggle, has been screen capped and posted here for my enjoyment. I have a particular love for making posts of silly milestones, as per my Twitter posts, so anyone who has glimpsed my blog in the past should of expected this.
Also, this is the most posts I’ve ever done on a blog; which I take as a good sign that I’m going to be able to stick with this in the long term.
A good read (the 31DBBB eBook)

in Internet
The other day, I bought the eBook 31 Days To Build A Better Blog, and it has given me plenty of ideas, and helped me lots in my blogging.
I love blogging, but often, in particular on my other blog WolfingTime, I have trouble coming up with new content. This results in either long gaps in my posts, or a complete loss of interest, which happened to a few of my other blogging endeavours. I’ve been determined to not let that happen again, but it’s hard. I’ve been reading other blogs to get ideas and helpful tips on blogging. The most helpful site of which I’ve come across is Problogger, which I coincidently came upon just after the start of a blogging program where every day the author posted a new task. These tasks allowed those involved in the program, or just the casual reader, to improve their blog with strategic exercises, and instructions on types of blog posts to make.
Reading it, I found many ideas that were completely unique to me, including an entire post on going shopping to improve your blog; despite being unusual, that was informative and quite a brilliant idea.
To top off how well done the program was, Darren Rowse made the entire thing available in the form of a professional looking 31DBBB eBook. Buying it set me back roughly twenty dollars, but it’s so far been worth it. It’s given me a reference for blogging that I can do in my own time; which in the case of WolfingTime is one post a week. It’s amazing because it even has several ways to get past writers block; which is evil.
As a final addition, Problogger encourages buyers to subscribe to an email newsletter which sends additional tasks for the program as time goes on, a nice little touch which keeps the 31DBBB fresh.
Being obsessed with blogs, it’s definitely a good cheap read for me, and it’s definitely worth plenty more than what it’s being sold for. I’m really happy I bought it.
Blog140

Today as a bit of fun I decided to write a small series of reviews of blogs that I read. Sounds simple enough, so I made it interesting for myself; and posted them on Twitter. One blog per tweet, thus meaning I had less than 140 characters to work with. I had the tweets done already, and had them scheduled roughly 30 minutes apart using the handy TweetLater service since I had to work during the time I planned to do this.
So, tweeted blog reviews where the tweet had to be short enough to fit both a URL and the #blog140 hashtag? Here’s the results, in order from first to last tweeted:
Today I’m going to point out some blogs I found that were well worth the read, either because they were funny as, or rather informative.
We’ll call it “Blog140″, because I have less than 140 characters to describe each blog. This should be fun for me at least :D #blog140

It was a fun experiment; if you saw this, what did you think? Did you end up clicking any of the links? Did you do so now that they’re posted here? And does anyone know an easier way to display a list of tweets besides copying each one into a table?
