So I found some photos

by ZombieSkittles on June 16, 2009

As the title says, while cleaning up my folders, I found a couple of random photos from my birthday, which were meant for a more “happy” birthday post to the one that I ended up with. These are mainly photos of the epic awesome birthday cake Courtney made for me, which was apparently 110% block chocolate, and caused diabetes by simply looking at it.
Disclaimer: I promise these photos are safe and do not cause diabetes.

100_1031The photos, if it isn’t obvious, is of the AWESOME CAKE OF DEATH, me cutting the AWESOME CAKE OF DEATH (with my brother and some blurry creature who I assume is the immortal keeper of the AWESOME CAKE OF DEATH), and then Courtney, creator of the AWESOME CAKE OF DEATH, with several family members in the background.

Thar be a sequel

by ZombieSkittles on May 7, 2009

Like all sequels, almost none of the original cast is in it. In this case, less Craig, more Aly and Courtney. I had fun editing this, and I’m glad it finally got uploaded. Whether or not it stays up is yet to be decided. Part of the days goal was to set out reviewing coffee and wireless internet throughout Adelaide utilizing only Twitter, and while that isn’t covered in the video, know that essentially it wasn’t planned enough and didn’t reach full fruition. We will probably be attempting something similar again in the future, but a time isn’t decided yet.

BALLOONS!~!

by ZombieSkittles on May 3, 2009

100_1065Courtney’s birthday is today, and despite her best attempts to be morbid about it, I am determined to make this an awesome 24 hours for her. First, to kick off celebrations, BALLOONS! ..Or as close to balloons as I could get. See, I suffer from procrastination, and lack of planning. But, I improvised; I happened to have a “balloon box”, which by coincidence I happened to get as a present from Courtney on my own eighteenth birthday.
The concept of the balloon box was to hold condoms, due to her fascination at the time with the safe sex slogan No Balloon, No Party. It was hilarious, and happened to tonight, hold what I see to be a shit ton of condoms; seventeen in total. Ladies and gentlemen, WE HAVE OUR BALLOONS.
It took ages to blow them all up, and I got so lightheaded I swore I saw John Paul II, but they’re all done. My hands smell of latex and “banana bump”, but it was worth it to watch Courtney smile:

So is the start of celebrations. Right now we’re watching the movie Capote and plotting tomorrow’s plans, which involves a trip to the art gallery and some geocaching.

If you read this and follow the girl on Twitter, wish her a happy birthday. Even if you don’t; send her a tweet anyway.

Update: Woke up this morning, suddenly realized, that we both didnt feel up to going out. But all is not lost; there is always next time to make up for lost time.
