I got bored and thought it’d be fun to redo my little collection of links again, and change them up just a little.
Now, if you go to /links on here, you’ll end up at a page full of even tinier avatars, each linking to something I like. The idea behind it is they could be mundane little things, or websites I visit all the time. Every so often I’ll add a few to the list, and eventually it should become a page of hundreds of links (my goal is a thousand).
I’m mainly doing this because I think it’ll look really cool, and I love doing little tweaks now and again. By doing this as well, I’ll be able to clean up the main page a little as there won’t be so much in the sidebar afterwards.
For now, the sidebar links will remain until I can be bothered porting all of them over to the links page, as I’m lazy like that.
Onto another topic, I’m considering getting rid of Disqus on this site. I like the system, but I want something that doesn’t feel so out of place in my blog theme. If you’re reading this (Mr. Nunn?) What’s your opinion on the matter? Is there a better alternative? Should I keep it? Should I just stop typing this and get ready for work?

Today, where it was meant to be one where I’d get some stuff done, has turned into little more than another day of procrastination.
I started off the day seeing if it were possible to make my own standing desk using my current desk, as the top shelf is perfect height for the monitor. Unfortunately, that shelf is too narrow for the base of the monitor, and if I went ahead there was a strong risk that the monitor would fall over. It’s a nice monitor so I don’t want to take the risk.
I also planned to write some stuff, but as you can see, this is all that came out of that; a post explaining why no posts have been made; hilariously ironic right?
Also, after installing Disqus Comments on here, and on Not Gamers, it seems I and JoshNunn have both started attempting to break the threaded comments in Tucking it in, by constantly replying to each other until either my computer explodes or we get bored.
I have to admit, Disqus has me wanting to comment on people’s articles more; the idea of being notified of replies, and killing hookers without getting caught are definitely appealing, I mean why shouldn’t I get my money back? But I digress.
I don’t have much else to say, apart from now you can email me at zombie_plan[at]zombieskittles.com, and I’ll actually be able to reply. So if you want to fight me, that’s where you go to do it.

This post is essentially being written to push down the picture of the penis. Bare with us, and by us I mean me.
While I haven’t been writing anything really decent here or there, I have been editing the site a tiny bit. First up, I’ve ditched the links cloud in favour of twitter-style mini avatars. I was inspired to do this after Doc_Swarley added buttons to Harnessed Crayon, but set out to make mine look closer to the display Twitter uses in profiles to display accounts a person is following. I like how it looks and I reckon I’ll use it more because along with looking prettier, it’s more interesting and maybe people will be more apt to visiting my friend’s websites.
After reading Tarale’s post yesterday I’ve decided to install Disqus here too. Disqus is a commenting system which allows threaded comments, notifications, cleaner management, and an ability to “like” comments, along with some other nice abilities. We’ll see how it goes, and if it works out I’ll keep it. Otherwise, there’s always the deactivate button.
And finally, the thing which is still currently frustrating me a little, is at the very top of this page. I’m a simple person, and simple things amuse me. This is a simple little “one liner” message I’ll update every so often with a random thought. I’m using an old twitter account of mine to display it, so I can also change it on a whim wherever I am. Also, thank you to all the people who helped me make it work (or attempt to; apostrophes still won’t display) last night; you’re all amazing (but not as much as me *nods*)
What are your thoughts on these? Like them? Don’t give a shit?
