This year I fell behind in NaNoWriMo and realize there is no physical way for me to reach the limit now unless I both stay up until midnight tomorrow and write consistently over one thousand words each hour.

As such, I’m officially throwing in the towel for this year. I’ve learned that I’m going to have to dedicate more time to this next year, and maybe have a plan before I begin so I don’t lose precious time like I did this year. Furthermore, I’ll have to endeavour to actually attend an Adelaide Write-In in 2011. Meeting fellow writers was something I had planned to do this year but failed to do so due to other plans cropping up.

In the meantime, I don’t know what I’ll do with my current story. I might finish it, or it might lay on this hard drive indefinitely. I haven’t decided yet.

Fucking NaNoWriMo, you win again!

I had a whole seven days off so I did what anyone would do with that time; attempt to grow a beard. It was a hard and tear-filled journey, and the results of which are displayed below.

Spoiler: I failed.

After less than 48 hours off computers I found myself using it again, if only to install and try Dropbox (which is made of awesome, thanks for asking). So obviously this whole computer-less adventure was a great big failure. Disappointed as I am, I came back to learn a few random things had happened:

• Britt has suddenly made the venture into vlogging, which is awesome. Also HOLY CRAP!
• SocialVibe is changing it’s look and some of the rules, which is awesome.
• Craig’s mum is good in bed, which is awesome.
• I am awesome, which is awesome.
• I’m watching the second season of How I Met Your Mother season 2 (finally), which is awesome.
• Awesome awesome awesome, awesome mcawesome-some.
