Went for a run today, and encountered this at the local primary school. Thought it was cute and merited a post. Sort of partially makes up for a day that I missed this month, right?

Today was my first proper run with my Samsung Galaxy S, so I got to try out Runkeeper and as such the GPS properly. The results were fairly good but not 100% accurate. According to the map it drew, I apparently decided to run through someone’s house at about 2.6km in. But still, it seems to do the job, though not as accurately as on my iPhone.

Here’s something fun to do with a few spare minutes. Take a photo of yourself running away.

Find a location with enough length you can run down.
Set your camera up, going into menu and have a two second delay on capture.
Push the button to take a picture, then run as far away from the camera as you can in those two seconds.
Post the results.

Daily Camera Whore

I took the dive today and got myself one of that DailyBooth accounts. The idea of the site, for anyone who hasn’t heard of it, is to take a photo of yourself every day for fun and to document yourself. Starting today, with the photo to the left, I’m now taking photos everyday I can of myself, so I, and I guess you, can see how I change. As long as I have the capability to take a photo and upload it that day, there will be a new photo.

You can see my currently fairly bland profile via this link I prepared earlier; it only has one photo, featuring my trademark bags under my eyes, but still, it’s there.

If you have a DailyBooth profile, can you leave a comment with a link so I can check it out, and follow you if I actually know you? Would be awesome to see who has an account and who doesn’t.
