Pointed in the direction of this supposedly newsworthy article1, I decided that I too could write an insightful post detailing how you could win in a game of chance. I’ve decided to tackle Roulette, though I guess this could apply to any game.
For those who don’t know, Roulette is a game in which you guess what number on a spinning wheel that a small ball will land in. It’s an interesting often busy game, and has lots of different bets you can make, from guessing the specific number, to guessing if it will be an odd or even number.
We’re going to focus on the bets for black and red numbers. The odds for the game’s various bets are easy to work out; there are 18 black numbers, 18 red numbers, and zero (which isn’t either colour). Because zero isn’t either colour, this means there isn’t a 50/50 chance to pick the right one, as many people tend to believe. Instead, the odds of successfully picking red or black is 48.65%.
I also want to throw out there for anyone who does play the game and keeps track of what numbers come up because “17 hasn’t come up in ages”, or “there’s been 10 black numbers, surely the next one has to be red!”, that all spins are independent of each other. It could be red 69 times in a row, but on the 70th spin, there is still exactly a 48.65% chance of it coming up either colour.
Enough, how do I win already?
Oh yes! I did tell you that I was going to tell you how to guarantee winning in this and effectively any other game of chance, didn’t I? Well, listen close I’m not going to repeat this:
Bet on the winning colour.
Ingenious right? If you bet on the correct colour, you’re guaranteed to win. Sure you might need some sort of psychic power, or a ton of luck, but it’s guaranteed that you’ll win if you place it on the winning spot. The same goes for Big Wheel, Baccarat, Sic Bo, and even craps. Put the bet in the correct place and there is no end to how much you can win. There are people who would try to have this post taken down as the information is too good to let the general public know about. However, I feel that I need to get this information out to all nine of my readers2 so that you can take advantage of this strategy.

So you're saying I can take this advice to the casino right now, and play on your table, and I'd win money every time? Wouldn't they kick me out for winning money?

If only you'd given me this advice before last Friday, I could have made lots of money. Instead I had to endure the company of a really loud obnoxious drunk guy. I blame you completely.
There is a way to win at roulette. Bet on black, double your bet every time you lose. Eventually you'll win back all the money you've lost so far and a bit more. Of course there is a chance that you'll run out of money before it comes up black, so this only works if you have an unlimited bank.
I am familiar with this method :P Apparently online casinos will ban you if they catch you doing this.
Normal casinos however apparently dont care, because if say its a $2.50 table, outside bets start at $5, and if you keep doubling after each loss and then going back down to $5 when you win, you're only winning $5 each win, very very slowly >_>

I am pleased. Thankfully, past-post betting is brilliant. Smack the dealer in the head, yell LOOK OVER THERE just as the ball falls into the slot. Then place the bet on the winning number just before the dealer recovers and places the dolly. This only works if you're in Nigeria where there are no cameras, only jungle creatures.
Also, RE: the comment on the “double your bet each time” system, this is called the Martingale System. No casino (live or online) will ban you for it. Why? Because eventually, mathematically, you will lose a shitload of money because you will rapidly hit the Table Maximum before winning at some point. If you start out with a $10 outside bet, and double each time, it does not need to run long before the bet you intend to place is above the table maximum.
You can not game the Casino with any “betting system”, you cannot change mathematics.
Ah yes that was the name.
What about tables without a table maximum? The Martingale System would work in Baccarat as well, and since it only works by differentials, as long as there are other large bets being played, in theory you could keep going forever…
there IS a system for lotto however, pick numbers no one else picks to maximize your win IF your numbers get picked.
but of course you have to deal with all the people who go with lucky numbers , unlucky numbers, numbers in series because they believe no one else will go in a series because they are so smart etc.
long story short, its hard but picking numbers over 30 is a good start, gets rid of people who pick peoples birthdays.
Thats a system to try and make sure you have a unique set, but would by no means help you win :P You still have to pick the RIGHT numbers to win >_> but I see what you're getting at.
