It seems I’m not the only one annoyed at certain companies and their stupid tactics.
I’m an avid Firefox user, always have been, always will be; Internet Explorer is made of evil. Google a little while ago brought out Google Chrome, their own browser, and while I downloaded it I haven’t really used it. But I noticed an advertisement on YouTube which made me wonder:
Try YouTube in a new web browser! GO FUCK YOURSELF!
Google had advertised that YouTube should be tried in their web browser, as if the experience would somehow be better than it currently is. My interest was peaked; what could possibly be better in that browser, and are Google really that big a douche that they’d make features available in just Chrome so that people have to use it? I loaded up Google Chrome and went to the site to find out.

There it is, the smooth basic browser that is Google Chrome. But, there’s nothing new in there…EXCEPT THE AD IS GONE. Wow, WHAT AN AMAZING FEATURE!! IM SO GLAD THAT I AM USING YOUTUBE IN CHROME BECAUSE NOW THAT ANNOYING AD IS GONE!!
This is completely worthless and the ad is retarded. That is all.

Things like this that target specific browsers have got to stop. The entire point of the Internet was that it was supposed to be independent of the software rendering it! Alas with CSS we’re forced to provide different versions for different browsers (IE I’m looking at you!) and don’t get me started on JavaScript/AJAX!
Silly ad.
LOLOLOLOLOL! It’s so true. Have you seen “Google Wave” that’s apparently going to “revolutionise” the way people talk online. Here’s a link to an enormously long video preview of it http://wave.google.com/ Google are too far up their own asses; but I guess they have the right to be, being one of the largest companies on Earth.
Actually Wave doesn’t look too bad, but the way they try to make you use their products is just inconvienent for the end user.
